I think just about any AC/DC portable radio would have an acceptable power transformer. I think I have a couple old junk portable radios in the basement. If I get the chance I'll rumage around down there this weekend and see what I can come up with. If I find anything I will let you know here. Observation: I've worked on a few of these sets and the tuner assembly is a real bear to get out of there.
