approx 12 years ago,i went to a sale at the sun tv warehouse building. i purchaseda daewoo 25 inch set in the box for 69.00. got it home and the crt was shorted. i took it back under warranty and the tech told me the tube was rca . it was shorted because it was a used tube in a new set. he said that many overseas manufacturers were recycling old tubes and thats why they had a high failure rate.they replaced it after 3 trys of making adjustments. very bad service-led to their demise. they installed a used tube also,but for 69.00? it is still around ,in my daughters home ,used by her kids.
