Doug was kind enough to give me this lovely Silvertone color set (see

Tried it for the first time a couple weeks ago, picture came in really blurry but in color, left it on for a couple mins, and "fzzzzzzz.....POP!" a perfect black and white picture
I still have to do a tube check, etc, on this set, but I've never heard a fizz pop when a tube goes.....any thoughts?
