You are right Sandy, The picture is much, much better than the poor still photo I posted. Even after all the abuse this set has been through before I bought it the picture is close to perfect. Makes lcd small screen look weak. And it only draws 3 watts at 12 volts dc. about the same as an lcd tv with a backlight!
So, Does it have a shadow mask, if so the holes must be microscopic.
BTW BGADOW, On the bottom of the tv it says manfactured january 1984 WOW, that's 20 years ago. I feel old.
