It is quite unique, I remember only repairing 1 or 2 of those in the early eighties.
I bid on it because of it being less than an hour away from me but was thinking "do I really need it"? Also, didn't really have an extra hundred bucks to toss out, Especially after Christmas.
Then was outbid in the last few minutes by "recollections for you"
Was happy to see that someone else wanted it more than me!
Interesting note though, I see by looking through Carlyle's bid history that he bought it off ebay a couple of weeks earlier for 80.00 not working and about 300 or so miles away from him!
Looks like he drove a long way, Fixed the set then had to sell it for some reason (possibly his wife?)
