The odds are that he'll end up giving it to Terry or someone else local before he actually tosses it.

He's convinced himself that it's worth *something* due to it's original owner, so it's highly unlikey once cooler heads prevail that he's actually going to trash it.

Unless after all he's as unreasonable as he appears in the handling of his auction!

I will say this though, without meaning to cast stones, when I've been offered an amount of money so far less from what I was asking for a given item, I have thrown it away (or at the very least refused to ever communicate with that person other than to rip them a secondary rectal orifice)

The problem began when he paid too much or somehow got brainwashed into thinking this thing is worth a fortune....it now has snowballed because of this and his refusal to listen to others who actually know better, but in his mind are just BSing him because they want to "steal" his zillion dollar TV for next to nothing.
