Sometimes Zenith won't turn on

I have another poblem with my 1982 Zenith System 3, every once in a great while, when we turn the set on, I see the green LED channel indicator come on but the set itself doesn't come on so it fully doesn't come on. If I unplug it for a few days, I try it again and it is OK. Could it be that HV board again? Any ideas?

It could be bad solder joints on the PS module, leaky voltage regulator perhaps. I would spritz some freeze spray on power supply components the next time the problem occurs. Perhaps the problem is thermally related...

DOes the sound come up and no picture, or just the LED only?

Just the LED comes on, no picture or sound.
