Aussie Colour TV with built in "Pong game"

I saw a link in YouTube for an Australian made colour TV in 1977 with a built in clock timer & built in "Pong game"

Kriesler colour TV AD circa 1977

Where there any US made TV's in the 70's with such a feature?

I believe in the mid Seventies Magnavox made such a set that had the game feature built in. This was not a common feature on any set. In the mid Seventies, we were thrilled just to have color even if it was only on a 13" screen. I sure miss those days.

I've got a Magnavox console that has a built-in Odyssey game system. Its buried in my storage shed. It has the joysticks, etc. It was an option at the time. This one still works. I believe it was built around 1974-75. The set is solid state.

I remember seeing the stand-alone Odyssey that sat on top of the TV, too. Too expensive for my tastes, anyway.

Boy that magnavox must be a rare one. I can't imagine many people went for the option when purchasing a new console. Besides, I have only ever found or had 2 magnavoxes in my lifetime looking for vintage sets. Very rare in NY I guess.

The whole Odessy game system was made (sold?) by Magnavox, and I can remember sets that had it built-in... My cousin had a stand-alone unit. That was about as "into" video games as I ever got. :dunno:
