1DK1 solid state replacement

What kind of HV diode can I use to replace the 1DK1 tubes found in the early sonyu portables and how do I connect them? From what it looks like, connecting them is really easy. You connect the cathode to the one end of the filament connection that is connected to other stuff, like a HV winding, and leave the other filement connection floating. Then connect the anode of the diode to the same place the plate connection is connected to. I think I have it right. :)

Thanks.

andy,

Thanks. I was just wondering because two leads broke off one of the 1DK1s just incase it was rare and hard to get. I have every intention on keeping everything original, but tubesandmore and a couple places actually stock them. I couldn't find the datasheet, and since I think that only sony made the 1DK1, I thought it was rare.

Thanks again.

Jonathan
