Just saw "The Hills Have Eyes"
 

Must say it was better than I thought it was going to be. I kinda new what to expect but I must say that it went to the extreme. Really I am suprised how it didnt end up being an "unrated" movie. The movie is quite disturbing and a few people walked out. I havent seen that happen in a long time. If you like shock horror I would go but if you are even the least bit sqeemish please stay at home.

Never seen either one. Scared the sh*t outta myself w/the '68 "Night of the Living Dead". Like those movies, but can't stand 'em at the same time.-Sandy G.

Oooooh I went and saw Wolf Creek and Hostel more to watch the crowds reaction than to be shocked myself and while Hostel was pretty good Wolf Creek sucked ass bags. I'll have to catch this one ;)

My kid couldn't finish watching this one not to mention sleep the night he got home from seeing it. Not sure if hes a puss or it was that bad. I'm not into horror flicks so i prolly wont see it.

How old is he? The only people that walked out in my theater were teenage copules. From what I saw the girls were crying so I feel pretty sure the guys would have stayed if it werent for there other half. To me it wasnt THAT scary. It is a MOVIE.

I was dissapointed in Hostel as it was really hyped up and didnt deliver imo. The Hills Have Eyes is much gorryer and just seemed to keep me at bay through the entire film. I kept putting myself in the families shoes and was thinking what I would do if something like this happened to me. Not that this is even realistic, at least I hope not but after seeing it you cant help but wonder.

The thing that is scary to me about Hostel was that it could totally happen. I can see rich fuckers going to 3rd world countries and paying armloads of cash to torture and kill tourists. I cancelled my European backpacking vacation ;)

Like "Wrong Turn" Hills will be scary and gory but I doubt theres any chance of running into mutated people who hunt and eat folks ;) Normal people yes, mutants no.

"normal" people can be scary enough....

I NEVER want to look into Steven King's or Hans Gieger's ("ALIEN"'s creature) bad dreams :yikes:

Obviously, youse guys have NEVER been to SE Tennessee or northern Georgia. The scariest thing about "Deliverance" to me was that it was entirely plausible....

My cousin saw THHE, she woke up screaming, I guess. Turned on all the lights in the house.

The Excorcist (sp) freaked me out the first time I saw it in 5.1 at home, in the dark. I mean really freaked me out.

When the mom (hottie) was going up to check on that noise in the attic -
*skrittttchhhhh*
- about peed my pants.

Enlighten us more, Clmrt...It's a safe bet the Hottie Mom met her untimely end then, but how ? Disemboweled, decapitated, run thru, fell into vat of hot acid-EVERYONE has one of those in his attic-Don't you ? Heater burnt out on mine the other day- PITA to change it-used up 3,4 virgins getting the acid the right temp & strength again-damn....virgins are SO hard to come by nowadays. Blame it on that rap crap all the young-'uns listen to now....

I just saw "the Hills Have Eyes" last night and it scared the crap out of me. Completely messed up movie, and I watch quite a few horror movies. People who think that wimpy horror movies like "the Ring" or "the Grudge" are terrifying need to catch that one out. Definitely not for the faint of heart however as it is pretty gruesome.

Thats what I'm saying man... all of my friends thought those "horror" movies were soooo scary, (especially the girls). I couldnt help but laugh...while THHE is pretty sick it is truly horrifying so therefore it succeeds at being what it is

I haven't seen it, but the original Hills Have Eyes was both funny and scary!
