Predicta Speaker Recone?
I'm getting ready to start the restoration of a Predicta Debutante and need to have the speaker reconed. Can anyone recommend a good company that offers this service? It's a small 4x6 speaker and is in good condition except for the torn and missing cone. I'd prefer to keep the original speaker instead of using a replacement.
Thanks! |
If you dont get much response here, I might go poking around over at antiqueradios.com, as the subject of speaker reconing for antique radios has come up quite a bit. I'll bet the same companies could do a predicta. Here is one thread. There are some others. http://antiqueradios.com/forums/Foru...ML/000903.html
Good luck, John |
Thanks John, found someone to send it to for rebuilding. Apparently some of the replacement cones are getting hard to come by these days....
