Tim Horton's has been airing an ad where a guy answers his doorbell repeatedly without finding anyone there until he looks down and sees a rooster on the step. The actor in the ad has such a strong resemblance to Rodney Dangerfield that it is uncanny. His features are not identical but very similar, but his body language and facial expressions are exactly like Rodney. And not in a mugging, impersonation sort of way. Is it possible the actor in the commercial is a relative of the late comedian?

Are these commercials airing on Canadian TV stations?

They are airing on the local stations here in the Detroit area, but Canada is only a traffic jam away from us. There are a bunch of TH donut shops in this area.
