Another Admiral near done.

I just recapped my 17 inch Admiral. This time, I didn't screw much up. Of course, this is a hot chassis set and somewhere the metal cabinet comes in contact with the chassis. That will be an easy fix.

The safety glass is cracked. I'll decide on fixing it when I get the set back together.

I had a little adventure with it. Details on my site in the next few days.

It's done for now. I reassembled the set, minus the safety glass. I will attempt to repair the crack, but I'm not optimistic. Here is a working shot before i reassembled the set.

Cool set Dave!

There was a front bezel for an Admiral TV on eBay in the last week or two, can't find it now.

I have an extra screen cover for a 17" GE, wonder if it could be adapted?
