It always amazes me to se so many '70's-early '80's sets out there, styled after the originator--- the RCA2000. I am happy to own one of the originators.

I was thinking, most of the old Zenith dealers were/are pretty stodgy places. I wonder what those guys thought of a set like this? Like some car dealerships I've known, they were really outclassed by their product!

Man oh man that set is the Bee's Knees! I love all those similar styled 70's Zeniths.....they're so perfectly in tune with that era. Dang I wish it were closer to me, kinda figgers that it would be near Zenith's HQ.

thats a unique set, definitly worth going after. La grange park is just down the road from me. Ive noticed much of the old zenith tv stuff on ebay tends to be sold from chicago area. As mentioned, zenith was based here and thats all you ever find at estate sales, new or old, its always zenith.
Carmine, if you're interested, I can pick it up for you and hold it. maybe you and dwight can drive down and pick it up and we can do some TV tradin' Just a thought.

Yeah, I thought of you Doug... Problem is I just don't have the space for that Space Command. However, I wouldn't mind doing some tradin'... I'll have a lot of time off this winter, I'll try to get down. (BTW, I've still got that console Zenith you gave me.. still workin')
