A dog chewing on a lithium Ion battery started a fire with a cat looking on, of course. Both escaped but the pillow the battery was on lit the house on fire.

Rodents chew on wires all the time. Lately they've been know to chew on the soy-based wiring in Kia's and Hyundai's. They now put a grease on the wires to prevent this.
