General Electric Black and White Television
 

Does anyone know what model this television is? Is anyone familiar with it? It has a phono switch on the back and is in a really nice cabinet. I don't see any identifying markings on it, however. I'd appreciate any input, thanks.

Also look for model tags on the bottom & on the tube layout chart. May
have a chassis ## too. Look up on SAMS photo facts site to confirm
suspect numbers.
Nice clean set & no PCB's ! A good one to restore.

I see a pair of 5U4s, and no brightener on the picture tube, looks great to me :)

Unfortunately, there is absolutely no tube layout and no ID of any sort on it anywhere. It is a nice set and well taken care of. I'm just getting around to checking out the tubes.

Yup, that PS could kill ! I am not a GE fan but once in a while a
good chassis slipped through the cracks. I bet a few lost there jobs
over this one :tears: No PCB's, clean lay out & none of the usual
cheap shit metal !

Sams Photofact set number 180, folder number 5 shows a cabinet identical to yours on its cover. Says it's model 17C110.The chassis photo with the phono switch matches yours also. It also says it covers the "early D and W versions" whatever that means, they don't mention another folder or explain what the differences would be.
