A great, old Peter Allen show tune perfectly describes this. Steve M provided an absolutely beautiful NOS 14RP4 for my Admiral 14UY3B chassis. The original appears dead. The aluminized Raytheon has pristine silver cups compared to the well used original's that look blued. Can't thank him enough for this gorgeous NOS tube. It even came with a warranty card!

Hi Chris,
Aluminized 14"/70° CRTs are very rare here in Europe/Germany, too.
A real needle in the haystack, you are a lucky man!:lmao:
Congrats!

I always wondered what would happen if you sent one of those warranty cards in. :) I have a Sencore CRT tester from the 70s that was new in the box and came with one. I bet the address is even still correct...

If I was the mail room clerk for Sencore and got a 30+ year old warranty card I'd have to send a post card congratulating the sender on finding a NOS unit and or a procrastination award...
