Sharp 27SV65 at all desirable?

I garbage picked this set going on 5 years ago. It works fine, looks like it was used very little and I’ve basically had it in a storage shed for all of those 5 years.

The initial intent was to make an arcade cabinet of sorts and use it. That’s kinda where we are at. It looks like I may soon have time to do that project if want but I’d have to disassemble the set to a large degree.

If it’s at all desired I could design the cabinet to retain the front of the tv but remove only the huge back which I guess I could toss back in storage.

I just have no other real use for it. The CRT allows for light guns.

At this point, video games are the only use I see for later-model CRT TV sets, yes. I am keeping the two Panasonic CRT sets that came in my "new" 2004 motorhome stored here for that reason as well.

This set isn’t super new, it’s from 1990 and assembled in USA. I assume it was a decent set for the time since it had video in and sound out. But other than a video game purpose I can think of no real use for it.
