Solid State Color CRT Televisions
***

There's not a huge contingent of active soild state TV collectors on Videokarma the odds one of us is close enough to you and interested are not great.
You're forgetting about a large market for CRT sets that is probably local to you...Retro Video gamers. Snap some pictures of the sets you have and use them to make posts on your local Craigslist, relevent and or local facebook market place groups, and the Let Go site, and you will get far better exposure and more response. |

Put up a list of model / chassis numbers & a pix of
each one. Even if you only get rid of one or two you are way ahead. Alternative is to pay $15 - $30 EACH to bring them to the dump in almost all places. With solid state console sets the only real demand is the first few generations. 90% here are Zenths & RCA's. A few Maggies & sylvanias fill out the rest. If you were in say Nashua N.H. & had an clean Admiral 25" SS from 1976 I would be over for it. I would even pay a token amount ! Most others no way. Things like Zenith Digital System 3 with BOSE & ULTA moderns are after abt 1980 still have some interest. Its about where it is & where I am..... 73 Zeno:smoke: LFOD ! |

Adios.

That was weird. I didn't see the posts before they were edited out.
TVrepairman, if you're still around: If you have an interest, it's worth leaving the posts, as someone who shares your interest may come across them, you never know. |

My guess is he managed to get rid of them, and wanted this topic to vanish so nobody would contact him about it. |
