TVs from the USA and canada found in the Netherlands

Found these TVs here in the Netherlands Europe. All are 525 lines 60Hz, in the Netherlands 625 lines 50Hz. Nice additions for me.

Wow that's quite a collection! How did you find them, and how did they wind up in the Netherlands?

I collect American TV sets here in Spain, most of which I think were brought by people stationed at the military base in the south of the country. I even have a never-used Predicta Holiday similar to yours that was left in a flat in Madrid that belonged to a US Embassy employee who disappeared in 1961.

US Embassy employee who disappeared in 1961.

Disappeared (!)

(back then, that could mean a few things...)

Heeey! Westinghosue 17TV7C in the third photo!

That is an impressive number of sets to bring across the ocean.

Does anyone know what the small knob directly above the channel selector does on the RCA set (picture #4)? Fine tuning?

Yes, fine tuning. That looks like an RCA T-100:

I need a channel selector knob that looks exactly like the one of the Philips TV seen on the last link.

The RCA T-100 now has a picture. After replacing the electrolytic capacitors.
