B&K 466 CRT tester... Any Good?
 
I have a chance to pick one of these up for cheap... where do these fall in the CRT testing crowd? good bad ugly?

I use one as my main tester. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for rejuvinations (I've killed tubes that way before), but it is a good easy to use tester. If you have a spare base off a dud 50's tube or a scope CRT you can use that to make a universal adapter...Mine has plenty of adapters, but once in a while I come upon an oddball like a 3NP4 or 15GP22 where most testers never offered a socket for them.
