I'm curious about this piece of Philco equipment. Has anyone used one in the past. How far is he out on the price that he is asking for it.

Ha-ha! That price is at least 10 times too high.
There happens to be an unrestored one in an auction I'm going to this weekend, I'll let you know what it goes for.

I've bought 2 or 3 of them over the years and the most I paid was $50.

They are interesting but mostly as a "shelf queen"

The one at the auction went for $ 10. Of course to be fair, the condition was unknown. Not a lot of the people at the auction were into TVs or know what it was for.
