OTA HD subs.
If it wasn't for some of the subs on the HD OTA, there wouldn't be anything worth watching.
We just got a new channel 4 sub, 4-3 called Escape, with the P half displaced. They seem to have a lot of Discovery channel rerun programing. Another good one is ION TV and Decades. You really don't need cable or satellite. :thumbsdn: |
A channel called COZI is a good sub-channel. I put a TV in the dining room(metal CTC11 w/legs), I watch "The Real McCoys" every morning. For some reason, these subs can't get the picture and sound synced right. Walter Brennan talks fast, so its obvious.
Yah I know, its a black and white show on my color set but its a great complement to the Beverly Hillbillies, which ran last year in the 6am time slot. After I shut the RCA off, I take a big whiff of that hot-tube-aroma. |

I think COZI was replaced by Escape. From the channel 4 group in the Milwaukee area. |
I can get COZI, MeTV and Antenna TV on channels 5.2, 19.2 and 8.2 (subchannels of ABC, CBS and FOX stations) here in northeastern Ohio, 30 miles east of Cleveland. I watch these channels a lot more than I watch the broadcast networks, since the subchannels have almost all the shows I grew up watching in the '60s and '70s. My favorites are crime dramas like Mannix, McMillan and Wife, Columbo, and others, every one of which are on one of the three subchannels I mentioned.
I cannot imagine why VK member DavGoodlin is having problems with audio sync on the subchannels. Is the issue only with the one program mentioned, or is the audio out of sync with the video on all programs carried on your cable? If the latter, complain to your cable company, as the problem could be at their end. If the sync problem occurs with OTA signals received over an antenna, however, I don't know. :scratch2: |
