Anyone familiar with THIS Philco tv?
Not sure if it is color. Not familiar with the chassis # either. Is it a cold one or a hot one?
Also pretty far from me...but maybe SOMEONE here might be interested.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/191840842941...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |
Sure looks like a color Philco, to me! I think it may be a hybrid set.

Color for sure, ACT is automatic Color Control, I think.
I had one a couple few years newer that I bought back in 77-78 or thereabouts, it had a rebuilt CRT and a good picture, but was a nightmare for me because it had an arcing CRT socket that kept whacking the CRT guns every so often until it stripped the cathodes. I never did figure that out, the guy who got it from me did though. |
i ve had several philco ford sets.that is a hybrid set.fine looking crts but prone to electroytics and crt socket issues.otherwise, fine sets with amazing pictures

Yup a hybrid color. Remember the one that had a door
that covered all the controls but WASNT a remote ? Same chassis IIRC. Those doors didnt last long, dumb ass idea. Not a bad set. 73 Zeno:smoke: |
If anyone out that way feels like buying it for $20, picking it up to avoid shipping cost, and bringing it to the ETF I'll give you $35 for it.

The chassis number 22LT45 is 1972 but unfamiliar to me.
Id like to find one just to get inside it, should be more interesting than the 20QT88 chassis from 2 years prior. The next year came the 3CY90, total SS "Boss" chassis |
