ID this TV?
My friend found a mysterious TV in an abandoned house and he's going to try to get it for me. Any idea what kind it is?

A little brighter.

It could be a Wells Gardner private label set, Penncrest or Coronado. I had one with the same control panel. :scratch2: |
Sylvania
|
I thought it looked Sylvania-ish. Tube or SS? Year?
|
I say Sylvania as well. Looks to be 19 inch set most likely a D-16 chassis. If memory serves a all tube set though (might be hybrid) and hot chassis, not sure though been a long time since worked on one. Do know that the D-14 chassis is hybrid as i'm looking in the back of one. All the best,Tom

I really hope I'll be able to get this set. I've been wanting a tube Sylvania table set. Hopefully I can resurrect it.

Sure looks like a Sylvania to me! I think it may be a B/W set, difficult to tell, but quite sure Sylvania! Hope you score it, then you can let us know, what it is! :-)

I got this TV today - or what's left of it. The cabinet is completely rotten and the chassis doesn't stand a chance of working ever again. I had to carry this thing about half a mile through the woods. The guy that got this for me said he knows someone with a roundie in mint condition. Now THAT got my attention!

Another.

Why did you even bother?

That's set's a Leaverite, as in Leaverite where you found it.

Well you did a service pulling it out of the woods & got a work out
at the same time. Time to add to the knob box. Oh hell plug it in & see if it works. What ya got to loose ? 73 Zeno:smoke: |
