Has anyone seen the new Star Wars movie? The.........Disney.........Star Wars.:tears:

its pretty good, much better then the 3 prequels that Lucas directed himself, a lot more like the original first 3 films. a lot of plot points, creatures, and droids are "recycled" from those films. A lot of it seems very familiar.. but then that's what a lot of Star wars fans want to see. And of course it sets things up for the next couple movies...

That's actually good to know. I know many people who said the original three were the only good ones. I actually liked episode one. Still wasn't the same tho. And I certainly didn't think Disney would do any better. Still, I'll have to check it out when it hits blu ray.

And I still say that... Have no interest in seeing this.....

That's why I'm not rushing to the theater to see it. I did that with episode 1 and since then, I haven't bothered. I'll pick it up cheap somewhere and see it just to see how it turned out. Can't be any worse than what happened to the Home Alone movies. First two were awesome. Last two have nothing to do with it and are pure junk.

I love Sci-Fi, but find star wars very boring. Wife loves them, we have them on tape,
and usually you have to let your mind run wild to follow some sci-fi's S-W just -


Lucas needs to join Walt having his head frozen for a few hundred years.....
wake him up after I'm gone for the next s-w film.....

I thought it was a good film falling somewhere between the first 3 made and the more recent 'prequel trilogy'....Probably closer to the original 3.

As for not liking Star Wars, I've never heard of anyone e that didn't. Probably enough fans out there to start a whole new country. As for the homemade youtube junk, not worth watching.

I have the original trilogy on laserdisc, before lucas started messing with them.

Don't wait for the DVD, read the book. It is far better than the movie!

Some of the things in film The Martian go against the laws of physics and disrupt the enjoyment of the movie.

The book seems both possible and plausible and builds suspense better!
