Princeton Ultra 20 monitor
 

Okay, not exactly a TV but worth a mention. I got this at a computer shop for 10 bucks. I have been wanting something like this for a retro-look PC build, and who knows what else it would be handy for with that jack pack.

I already had a NOS early ATX tower case, so this might get the Retrobright treatment.

Hope it doesn't have a whole lot of hours on the CRT. Otherwise nice find!

I mention that because every big monitor I found before LCD's replaced CRT's was used until the CRT got too weak to get a decent image, and the date on yours is 1996 so that thing probably saw use almost every day from 1997-2003 ish

Awesome! I picked up, nearly that same model some years ago. I used to play Sega Genesis and SNES with RGB, it has a great picture.

It seems to have plenty of life left. :) I'm using it for writing this post. Even at its lowest brightness setting it shows an image.

I wonder what that molex-type connector on the back is for?

The first high definition big screens had that type of plug ins, if you could find the hdtv box from the late 90's to early 2000's you could use it as a high def tv. The first hdtv's had to have the vertical and horizontal sync with the rgb. I need one with vga output for my zenith.

Sweet! That thing brings back memories of playing Doom and Starcraft on my old family computer! I should never have dump my old CRT monitor...well at least keep one for retrogaming because its not as fun to play Diablo 2 in 4:3 on a 16:9 LCD monitor.

By the way, how would I use it with the BNC connectors? I have no idea what those marked H+V/H and V are for, or if it can be used with just the RGB connectors or what.

The H and V are for horizontal and vertical sync

and no you can't use just the RGB connections. You need an RGB source with seperate horizontal and vertical sync. Or RGB with H and V on a separate line as that's likely what the "H+V" connector is for.
