I picked up a Motorola 17t6d, chassis ts-236. Would anyone have a schematic or any service info for it? I got nothin. Sams 152-4a

Would anyone know the value of the sand capacitor off the vertical lin. pot to ground? I need ohmage and wattage please.

I looked at my Riders 10 manual. Looked at the Motorola models that used a 12BH7, vert osc and output tube. All of them show a 8700 ohm resistor @ 3 watts, from the 750 ohm vert lin control, that's in the cathode circuit of the output side of the tube.
BTW, does your set use that wonderful 17TP4, metal coned CRT. :thumbsdn:

Thanks for the info! It uses a 17cp4 tube but it tests like new and has excellent life test. Are they known for going to air?

Unfortunately, yes! The smaller CRT's seemed to be better in this regard.
You set is a little rarer, as it uses a magnetically focused metal CRT. Most of those sets used an electrostatic focus CRT, the 17TP4. They went to the all glass 17HP4, in the later sets. :thmbsp:
