GE clock radio TV from the 1960s.
Last year, I got a small GE B&W tv which I guess was from the early 1960s. I gave it to a friend who collects everything GE but I thought it was a cool little TV. It needed some fixing as the AM radio didn't seem to work and the TV certainly needed work too. Does anyone know more about these?
Here's a small video of it: https://www.flickr.com/photos/33723086@N02/12065064263/ |
Hi, Your little G.E. is a model M111ABG or equal with a SA chassis. Service info is in SAMS set 764 folder 2 and the radio data is also in the set. Saw your short vid and the picture on screen seems to indicate you need to change the filter caps. There are a few paper caps that should be changed and it should work fine for years to come. All the best, Tom.j.fla
