Mitsubishi VS-526RS
 

I have the chance to purchase a Mitsubishi VS-526RS Projection Television for only $20. I tested it, and I couldn't get it to work. It is the one that has the three tubes that shoots the picture into a mirror and then up to the screen. The cabinet is solid wood and in very good condition. That in itself is worth the $20. I've never worked on one of these type of set-ups before. Does anyone have any information on them? If worst comes to worst, I can removed the screen and just install a flat screen TV into it. It has the doors on the front that cover the screen when not in use.
Any help would be appreciated.

I ended up purchasing it yesterday and brought it home. It is still in the truck in the garage. I didn't have anyone around to help unload it. Once I get it inside, I'll takek pictures of it.

Well, if I wasn't thousand of milles away, I would have help you unload that beast :) I hope you'll get it working!

Ive never seen one of these but watch for shorted yokes,
very common on MGA projos.
