Predicta Holiday Network K3(N5)
 

I am rebuilding my Predicta Holiday networks and am confused on one symbol on N5 (K3) (part # 30-6030-7). The C2 (.004)/R3 (90k) combination that goes to leads #2 & 3 is one I've never seen before in what looks like the resistor with half of cap C2 next to it. What does that mean, just connect them in parallel? Thanks

You can replace that "combo" component with a 90K resistor and two .002 caps connected from each end of the resistor to ground. You can also construct that resistor/cap component using two resistors and three caps, as described in "Replacing the Vertical Stage Couplates" in the following article:

Either way seems to work fine.

Yes. The simpler version uses two .002 caps, one from each end of the 90K resistor to ground. (I edited my previous reply to make it a little more clear.)

Funny you should post this now. I just built some replica networks for a Predicta Tandem last night :)

I used two 47K and two 0.0012 and a 0.0016. Overkill really though. Next time I'll just use three 0.0015.
