Can anyone ID this Quasar on Craigslist?

Hi All, found this ad on Craigslist. I'm thinking it is around 1970's don't know if it is American parts or matsushita parts inside. should i go get it?

I'm going to take a guess and say that it is from the matsushita era.

And correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe that these set, although "less collectible" might be better performer than the motorola models of a few years before.

Yeah, it's a Matsushita TV from around '77.

Would you agree that those are stronger performers than the Motorola?

I second the Matshashta identity, NO question about it.
For a portable yes they are better. I dont know if Moto
built a SS set under 19" so can only compare to the
hybrids I remember. We wernt in a heavy motorola area.
Sold Quasars for a while as a second line after Admiral
gave it up. Ran nice but lots of FBT's went in them.
Also the other Panny problems...

I think the best Matsushita-era Quasar's were during the mid '70's to very early '80's. I wasn't too crazy about most '80's Matsushita/Panasonic/Quasar TV's - too many smoked flybacks, too many weak CRT's, too many bad solder connections/low quality PC boards, and/or a combination of the above.
