15" crt on goodwill

The label shows tube # 17TP4. Electrostatically focused, used in some Motorola's and a few others. Lamont tubes were sold in Milwaukee for a short time and they were among the best rebuilt CRTs.
I never saw a 15" metal tube.

I'm sure dieseljeep is correct. I think Goodwill just listed it as 15" because that was approximately how they measured the screen diagonal with a ruler, not because they knew something specific about the CRT. Keep in mind that CRT screen sizes used to be based on the dimensions of the entire tube envelope, not just the actual screen area. So, 15" would seem perfectly reasonable for someone describing it who isn't otherwise familiar with the item.
