S&H Greenstamps premium

Anyone know the brand of this TV in an S&H ad from 1963?
By the way, the camera is a Kodak Motormatic (with spring-wound film advance) |
because of the NBC reference and the fact that it looks like one, my guess would be...
RCA |

The radio could be an Arvin AM/FM model. Most of the merchandise in the S&H catalogue was on the lower end of the product lines. :scratch2: |
Hello I use to have one of those tvs it was a pretty good performer for what is was. the tuner was a little sensative but other than that it was o,k,....Timothy

Isn't a sensitive tuner a good thing? :scratch2:

I have one of those Kodaks, bought it for a buck at a yard sale. My favorite camera, just for the novelty factor. (I'm sure no photographer)

I have a couple of 1961 RCAs that are called "Sportabouts" in the advertising literature that I have . These are similar to the set in the ad. I restored them and they also work well, having a Nuvistor tuner. These are series string sets. However the Ad mentions and I have the highter end set of this line, also a portable 19 inch B&W set. This set has a power transformer and a 6BQ5 audio output(instead of the normal 6AQ5). Some of the RCA portables were pretty well made in the early 1960s.

I just found the New Vista logo on it, so it's an RCA Victor for sure. I like that radio too.
