fly-278

I have 2 Thordarsen Flybacks Fly-278 for my ctc-16 combos, thinking i might someday need them it would be good to have spares. It seems that the earlier one, the ctc-16ab, has a different part number and focus rectifier, does anyone know what modifications have to be done,if any, so it would be usable???

I think the RCA service manual shows two different part numbers, but IIRC, they are both covered by the fly 278. The earlier chassis uses a 1V2 and a filiment dropping resistor. Other than that, they should be the same.

The early uses a 1v2 and the X series uses 2AV2. No big deal, use the 2AV2 with either fly.
