UHF terminals works as VHF terminals
Well this is an odd one.. I found out that, despite my TV having both UHF and VHF screw terminals, if I attach my blonder tongue to the UHF terminals and set it to a VHF channel, it comes in very clear on VHF despite being on the UHF terminal.
So I thought somehow it was bleeding over those terminals, but if I have say, my cable hooked up to the VHF terminals and blonder tongue on UHF terminals, the blonder tongue does NOT bleed it's signal into the cable hookup in the house, so it doesn't appear to be hopping terminals then. I'm so confused.. |
Have you removed the tuner recently? You may have switched the cables that attach to the terminals on the tuner side. Just a thought.

The tuner has not been removed recently and the VHF terminals work exactly as VHF so sending UHF into the VHF terminals does not work.

I think I should have mentioned that the UHF terminal is in fact wired to the UHF tuner and VHF terminal is in the VHF tuner.
But it seems with the blonder tongue, despite being on UHF, if it's set to a VHF channel and I tune the TV to VHF, it still works.. |
