There isn't that many of the CTC28's around. It was a very pricey model at the time.
IIRC, it had a separate indicator lamp for each channel. Of the two I worked on, neither was a remote. To locate all the motors and special parts would be an extreme undertaking. |

I had a CTC21 (another rarely seen expensive one)and it had a remote chassis, CRT and escutcheon that had lots of functions, including color and tint motors.
I never had the transmitter, so I did not try to make it work. It was removed from a combo that our shop refitted with a "new RCA 25" in 1981. I fitted the whole works into another cabinet and we used on a cable box, so there was little need for remote functions. Maybe one of my RCA color service manuals by Carl Babcoke mentions it. |
