yup now i can take alot pictures of other stuff i have ,does anyone else collect test equitment i have a liking for of scope's meter signal gen's all kinds of test equitment nomatter how old :D

Good thread to discuss test equipment in the BW forum..

Most of my test equipment was EICO and Heathkit. I built 1975-79 in order of need during my Jr Hi years, as i descended into the spiralling obsession of curbside rescues and word-of-mouth donations. As I recall it was alot cheaper than what real TV shops had, just not as good. Sencore and B&K stuff was always on my wish list but never in the budget.:sigh:

I started with a Heathkit IM-18 VTVM, then EICO 950 Cap Checker, then EICO 635 tube tester, Heathkit IT5230 CRT tester-rejuv.

Now, there's lot's of used test equipment available. My " old" Scope is an RCA WO-91B single trace 4.5 mhz, I use it on the old stuff too! :D
My "new" scope is a Leader LBO-524L, dual trace 20 mhz, which is perfect for newer stuff.
