NOS CRT's cheap

I'm making this post outside of the Curbside Forum because I think it's important enough that every one have a chance to see it.

Someone is selling over 100 NOS CRT's, apparently for $5 your choice.

Most of them seem to be Metric Numbers but there are a few older numbers as well.

It would be nice if they could be saved from the Recyclers even if they aren't currently hot numbers.

Wait, hold on here. He quotes "dealer price" and shipping weight, but a BIN of $5.00 and a shipping of $18.63.

"Color" me confused......:stupid:

Yeah, I guess that is a bit confusing.

I was assuming that the Dealer price and shipping weight chart was what they originally sold for but perhaps that is what he's asking, seems unlikely since he says they are going to the recyclers but I suppose it would be wise to ask.

Maybe the $5 is just a marker bid?

Anyway, it would still be a fair deal at list price for some of them if you needed one badly enough.

Asked about the pricing and here's the reply.

"Yes = all tubes listed are just $5.00. I left the dealer pricing on there to try and show that $5.00 is a great deal if you need a tube.

Thanks for your efforts to help me. What is left goes to the recycler on Friday".

If I was in Utah, I'd buy the whole lot. Yjem delivering from a trailer would still make money!

But what about shipping?

Last chance, Thursday, April 12 is the end of the line. I pulled out my interchangeablity chart; a lot of those 19v tubes look like they will cross back and forth. I suspect if you needed one for something from the 70s, they should have it.

I picked up a small 5" CRT and the shipping to Chicago came up $17.25.
