First of all, thank's to banderson for the help in identifying this set. It's a Motorola 12VT13 with a TS-23 chassis. If anyone has a Sam's 92-4 that I could download,I would greatly appreciate it. Also,I'm looking for a set of knobs, vertical output transformer and a back. Here is a picture of the set. It doesn't look as bad as the picture shows. Thank's in advance. Dan.

I think I can dig up a VOT and maybe some knobs.

Any idea if they look like the ones in the 17T5E

Or maybe this 12K2 ?

As for the back, I don't have a spare but I do have a picture of one.
Perhaps you can make a replica with some masonite ?

Thank's Bob. I think the knobs look more like the 12K2.

I have some perf board lying around that I can make a back out of. That would save me a lot of time drilling several hundred holes. I would be interested in the transformer and some knobs. The transformer # is 25C790151. Let me know what you find and what you want for them.

Any idea what I could use for the cover for the neck of the CRT that sticks out of the back? I'm sure I could find something if I think about it enough.

Thank's for your time and effort. If there's anything I can help you with as far as parts and such, let me know. Thank's again. Dan.

I dug out my TS-23B part chassis and pulled the VOT. I can't believe they riveted it to the chassis

The part# is really hard to make out. It looks like 25B792545.
I measure 11.5 / 650 ohms primary / secondary.

Your schematic calls for 9.8 / 770.

If you want it, it's yours. I'm still searching for knobs.

Thank's Bob for digging that out. Mine is riveted in also. Do you think that would be close enough to use as far as the resistance readings go? I insist on paying you for it and the knobs, if you find some, plus shipping. If there is anything you need, let me know. I have lots of NOS can caps, radio parts, a couple of RCA and Zenith radio chassis from the early 50's, one or two Motorola VT-71 knobs, plus misc. radio and TV knobs that I have no idea what they go to. Around here it's like a treasure hunt when I start looking for something. I was doing some cleaning a couple of weeks ago and found a "Travel Time" pinball machine playfield and head that I had forgotten I had! I think I was saving it to use for parts if one of my other pinballs took a crap. Anyway, thank's for your time and effort to get back to me and let me know what you want for the parts. Dan.

Yes, I think it's close enough. I used a Dremel tool to grind away the backside of the rivets.

I dug up some Motorola knobs like the ones on my 12K2 and 9T1. There are subtle variations of the shaft type on the inner knobs. Are your knurled, flatted or split and knurled ?

As for what I'm looking for. The gold channel and fine tuning for a 7VT2 and a Predicta metal channel knob.

P.S. When you Quote someone in a response, you can edit out the [img] section. That will reduce the picture overload in a thread like this.
