I could use the setup manual for this CRT tester since I misplaced mine. If anon has one rhey could scan I would appreciate it. A 12lp4 CRT found it's way to my place a couple of days ago. Looks like it is good, but I don't remember the settings. I don't want to restore it, just test the emission. Of course this means that if it is good I will need to find a set to put it in. Anyone close to west tn with a set that needs a CRT. I would be interested.

Bill,

Google turned up this.

Not the best scan, but I think you can fudge your way through it.

settings for 12Lp4 - G2 = 250, G1 = 18-58

I just bought an Emerson 612 that has a 12LP4 in it, that's supposed to have a 10BP4. The 12LP4 doesn't even really fit in the cabinet. If you only had a 10BP4 rather than yet another 12LP4...

Thanks. Using those settings the emission reads full scale, and cutoff is just over 20. Life test looked good as well. Looks like now I need a tv to put it in.

I know this is a common tube, so what sets used this tube?

bandersen 09-20-2011 11:46 PM

Off the top of my head:
Admiral 22X12, 24C16
Crosley 9-407M
Motorola 12K1/2
Philco 50T-1401/2/3/4

Plus many others...

Hi Bob, thought about you when it showed up. The electrician that is doing some wok on my bathroom stopped by one afternoon and said he found something I might want. He had the tube sitting in the cab of his truck. Seems it was just sitting by itself in the attic of a house he was working on. The only thing he knew was that it was a CRT so he gave it to me. He collects fans so I will have to watch for fans. I told my wife that since the tube is good I will have to find a set to put it in. Maybe a table model would be best.

Kevin Thanks. I have been looking for a link for that manual for some time.
