Aw, c'mon, you guys, you remember them ol' tellavishuns what had them motors in 'em back in the Fifties, doncha ? Yeah, they ran the annacannafrannistan wobulator on 'em that way...

Well, you know how cheap Gen.Electric was, he could really cook up some stuff. I worked on one of these Hotpoints and like Uncle Sandy said, that UHF, whoa, boy! It uses a gear reduction drive off the motor, to get that Ultra High speed going. The one I had, the grease had congealed and it just couldn't build up enough RPM. So, you'd tune in channel 14 and get channel 63. Once I tuned it up to channel 83 like that and some little guy in tights came on the screen-his antenna looked just like the antenna on the Hotpoint, so I knew I was onto something!
