Interesting set in wood cabinet
I can't tell who made that set but I hope the chassis is worthy of that beautiful cabinet.
So, no one knows what it is? I don't go for square sets, but I'd still be interested to know.
Penncrest by Penny's?
Something familiar about that cabinet, like maybe somebody on here has one? The set itself doesn't ring a bell, but I would guess it to be an "oddball". Penncrest, sure...that could be the stylized 'P' on the control panel, but hard to tell. Could be some other store brand.

I have an early '70's 19" Motorola-Quasar hybrid color set with a similar control panel.
Isn't that one of those 19" Motorolas with the Holiday Inn dummy UHF knob.
Looks like one of those Franken-designs with a table model chassis and bezel stuck in a wood cabinet.

I think I remember years ago staying in a hotel and finding something like that dummy knob, and I removed it and put the VHF knob on the UHF tuner just to see if anything came in. A couple of snowy channels maybe. That was in the old days when I still turned on the TV when I stayed in hotel rooms. Now that they have locked menus (and I have not had much luck using various universal-remote-control gadgets I have brought on trips), I never bother because the picture is always adjusted into garbage.
