some TV's for sale

Heres some TV's im selling now that I need to open up some more space. Many of these sets I simply bought at estate sales and never even tried them, some i did and they had some problems which I'll describe but have not diagnosed. Please email me direct at [email protected], (do not PM me)

Anyone who can make a trip up to Chicago will go home with alot of nice TV's. This is the start of the list but there probably won't be too much more being added.

Thanks-

First picture: 1964 Zenith space command 400 console, turns on but no high voltage. Same picture, 1966 Zenith roundie, untested but I did notice that the horizontal output was removed. $30 for the space command b/w, $150 for the Zenith as its near mint and probably won't take much to bring it back.

Next is a 1967 RCA combo with CTC-25. No raster on the TV, stereo works but hums. Unknown causes for the troubles, $100.00, cabinet is near mint.

1973 RCA XL-100 modern console, works, $40.00

1963 Zenith b/w portable in blue steel cabinet, I believe it works, $40.00

1961 Zenith b/w portable in white steel cabinet, I believe it also works, $40.00

1974 Zenith Avante space command, works with remotes and manual, $100.00

Which one will hold the largest Aquarium? :stupid:

I'd love that 61 metal zenith portable, but I also know what it would cost to get it here . . :(

Wish I lived a little closer to you.

Nice--I like how the pictures are a mini-tour of Chicagoland estate sales. That XL-100 is gorgeous and very tempting. Wish I had room!

I have a friend who lives in Waukegon, thats a little north of you but sometime next month you and those TV sets might just be my excuse to go see him again...

Is the Roundie still available? If so, I'd like to get it.

Is the 1964 Space command 400 a color set? If it is I'm probably buying it, if not then I'll probably go for the Avante.

You guys do know Doug has a time machine. He was smart not to build it into a Delorian, you know it would really stick out when he takes it back 20 years to go "garage saling" yah- thats the right word too. He smartly built his time machine into that old green Dodge. The only thing he really needs to do is push the cigarette lighter when he hits 1985 (it flips the plates to the proper year). I bet now he even fills the tank back there too.

Hey Tom, The SC 400 is a B/W set but it's a very nice one. It would be worth having.
