Picked up a CTC-40 comb and a bonus!!!
 

I went on a little "road trip", up north today, to pick up a ctc-40 RCA combo, the "Antionette", as shown on the 1970 RCA catalog. It is in pretty good shape, along with a "little bonus"...a NICE Philco 42--1013 Beam of light radio/phono.

This was a "Craigslist find" from near Cleavelend. Supposedly the stereo works, the tv lights up, but the philco does not, of course. But I got it for only $30!! It is in NICE shape, as is the tv.

The set is in the van with the philco.


THe owner just seemed "happy to get rid of BOTH of them...now--they will NOT see the "ultimate fate" that so many nice vintage electronic items do.

I have the same model "Antionette" CTC-40 combo. I need a tv chassis for mine though but the stereo is great. I hope to find the chassis to get mine in full working order again.
