So, you have a "modern" post war TV - but do you have the right furniture to sit on while you watch?

Here's the latest forward-looking style from 1949...

(and, if you figure out how to watch comfortably from that sofa, let me know)

The curved corners of the screen look like those of Norelco Protelgram sets. Given the ad date and the apparent large screen size for sets of that era it might be likely it is a projection set using the Protelgram system.
