I still cant understand why people do this.
Even if they don't want to pay to have someone fix it,it looks much nicer as a complete tv than turned into something like this,and it's worth more when they go to sell it.

I'd consider turning a set into a fish tank in a non permanent way. I would try to find a dud crt, cut the face off, clean off all the phosphors, and build up a box behind it. Then you could mount the tank using the factory fasteners, and the curve of the "screen" would be correct. And because no changes were made to the cabinet you could always go back.

Or you could just cut a hole in top of the CRT bell and throw the fish in there.

I was hopeing to get a look at it but the seller pulled the add.

Friday night fish fry is pretty big here in WI. :yes: Time to crank up the ol' CRT frier and throw back a couple cool ones. :beer: :D
