My name is Pete. I joined this forum about a week ago. I've enjoyed electronics all my life. I played around with tv's when I was young and not knowing to much. I just enjoy all the old things, radios, tv's etc. I've built some Heathkit products, such as a clock, thermometer and 2 Heathkit tv's. The GR-2000 and the GR-2001. I still have the GR-2001 and I purchased a GR-2001 that's partially built about 3 years ago. I haven't finished it yet. The GR-2000 was ruined in a flood in out basement many years ago. I don't know when, but I have a Motorola VT-71 that I'm going to do my first restoration. I'll keep you posted.

The VT-71 was my first vintage TV restoration too. It's fairly easy to work on and you'll find plenty of tips and advice on this site.
