Arrrrgh!!

Way to ruin a great TV!:

Holes cut in top to feed the fish even :no::no::no::no::no::no:

Ugh :tears:

Those four knob in the middle are totally wrong. He ruined a set of four knobs from a 20X122 or similar. Including the channel selector which has been cut down to fit!

Kevin's 20Z1 chassis goes with this cabinet, but those holes really ruined it :bash:

They only drilled some small holes so it could be fixed and un-fish-tanked at this point if you wanted to pay $99 for a cabinet.

It's missing the door and the knobs have been glued on, hopefully only Hot Glue and not Epoxy.

Thats too bad, I could have even used those knobs. :nono:

Hmm. That's a lot closer to reality than the $350 or so from last time around. Gonna have to give this some careful consideration.

Hopefully, the correct number of knobs for the middle is Zero... mine just has knurled shafts in that location. :scratch2:

Forgot to mention on the eBay auction post above, but it should be obvious "NOT AFFILIATED !"

Yeah, it looks ridiculous, they just glued a bunch of unrelated knobs everywhere to hide the fact the door is missing.

Yes, it should just be four knurled shafts

Tragic. But I kinka like the antenna...

I asked the guy whether he still has the insides and mentioned that it's worth more as a complete TV than as an aquarium. Guts are gone.

Which is worse, did he ream out the shaft holes bigger to accept those knobs, or cut the shafts off the knobs? :thumbsdn: Probably make a mess of that plastic bezel removing those knobs. :thumbsdn:

I'll volunteer this bezel and partial knobs if someone wants to go for that poor thing. Of course the door was busted out of this one too. I also have the chassis with a good crt, but it would be killer to ship the thing. Otherwise I'll just set on this stuff in hope that a nicer cabinet will one day come my way.

That knob on the left appears to be glued on with clear silicone; that being the case, those would pop off without much damage. At least the speaker is included, and the antenna is really cool. I just can't invest $150 plus to have thing shipped. Anyone know where the seller is located?

Oxford, MI. ebay hides the item location under the 'Other item info' link on the right.

Whoever did this fish tank obviously had access to more than one Admiral :scratch2:
