Been dismantling some monitors and seeing some pretty orange drops inside. Problem is:

334J400V

Okay, i gather its 400 volts,, and thats it..

Is there a chart i can download that converts these to english standards?

I think it should be. 33uf@ 400v

Make that. 33uf@ 400v

Right. 334 => 33 follow by 4 zeroes in pF => 330,000 pF or 0.33 uF.

Is this code for certain types, brands, colors, etc.? I have yanked some blue versions of orange drops out of (I think) a VCR, or some other modern junk and they bear a strange set of numbers that make no electronic sense. I do know that a lot of "orange drops" plainly give the value and the working voltage rating.
